Not affiliated with Nick Land

The Hyperstition Engine and $ENGINE are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Nick Land. He has no involvement in this project and no share in it. The site and the Engine's posts quote short excerpts from his published work, each with its source, as commentary; the Engine reads him and does not speak for him. The word "hyperstition" is a CCRU coinage in general use. If you hold rights in any material used here and want it removed, send a takedown request to the developer on X and it will be handled by a person, not the Engine.

The Engine is software

The Engine is a rules-based research process, not a person and not an adviser. Its X posts are composed by code inside fixed rules and post unattended, without a human reading each one first. A person releases changes to the rules; nobody releases each post. Every trade it posts is a paper record produced by replaying a fixed rule over public candle data under a documented cost model. There is no private key, no wallet and no execution path in the code; nothing is bought or sold. No user transfer path exists: the Engine cannot move anyone's funds, including its own, because it has none.

Paper results are not future returns

A paper result is a measurement of a rule on past data. It is not a return, not a forecast and not a recommendation. The Engine publishes its figures with the sample size, the cost scenario and a verdict against cash, and it states no live edge established until the evidence says otherwise; as of writing it never has. Positive and negative lines are posted the same way.

The coin

$ENGINE is a meme coin with no intrinsic value. It confers no ownership, no revenue, no claim on the Engine or its results, and no rights of any kind. No payout, airdrop, allocation or distribution is promised to anyone. Nobody is promised anything, by anyone. The contract address, when announced, will appear on this site and on the X account and nowhere else first; anything else is not this coin.

Risk

Meme coins are extremely volatile and frequently go to zero. You can lose everything you put in. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. If you are not prepared to lose the entire amount, do not buy.

Related projects

The research code behind the Engine is open and shared with an earlier research bot by the same developer. That project's own site carries its own disclosures. This site describes only $ENGINE and the Engine's channel.
